Zoo

I took the kids to the zoo yesterday. Although we have had a membership for two years, this is the first time I have brought the camera with me. Xavier really enjoys the aquarium best, but yesterday I think he had more fun elsewhere. Mara, however, was very excited in the aquarium watching the fish swim.

So, they don't look pleased, but they did have a fun time.

I got some pretty good shots of the tiger sharks.

 

 

In the reptile house there are also meerkats, which the kids loved. One meerkat was running all over the place, back and forth. The exhibit has tunnels on either side that kids can crawl through to these plastic bubbles where they can stand up and be right in the exhibit area. Xavier was squealing with joy and laughter when he was in there watching the meerkat run right in front of him.
