Labor Day Weekend

I have been avoiding this post for some time because there are way too many pictures from the weekend, but I finally picked some out. We traveled to New York to visit our friends, the Churchfield's, and to enjoy the Dansville Balloon Festival, where hot air balloons are launched every morning and evening, weather permitting. Sadly, the weather was not permitting all weekend, but we enjoyed ourselves none the less.

We played at an old-school playground near their house:

Even the adults played (reliving our youth!):

We played:

This was our first time meeting the newest Churchfield: Trevor!

We ate many meals together:
Unless we are talking about Xavier, who it seems gave up food while we were there. He was too interested in playing with their toys, especially once the Thomas trains came out. Then on the way home, basically as soon as we got in the car, he ate and ate and ate!

We had a picnic waiting for the balloons:

Use your best Arnold Schwartzenegger accent: "Supa Peta!"

I think she has a rock in her hand, but who cares, it's an awesome shot!

This was all we saw of the balloons. They blew up, but didn't go up:

The kids had a fun time at the picnic running around and playing with each other.

Final round of fun - Tyler has a Power Wheels truck that kids can drive, and did they!

Thanks to our friends for a wonderful weekend, sans balloons, but full of fun!

Hooray for a new post! I love the picture of you up in the air on the teeter-totter, Chez--you look just like a kid having fun!
