Xavier and Sid

Xavier loves Sid the Science Kid. Mara does too! I think it's a pretty good show, actually. Anyways, the show always has a "super fab lab" where the kids do some activity. I often try to let Xavier and Mara do the same or a similar activity.

One show was on animal homes and the kids made a bird's nest out of various scraps. I helped him make one. A week or so later, Xavier asked Chez to make another bird's nest. She left him with the Elmer's glue and the scraps and he made this nest entirely on his own! You can't tell from the picture, but he used so much glue the thing took several days to dry! (This is also one of the first crafts Xavier signed.)
