Water Line Break

One afternoon in the spring I noticed our driveway was wet, but I hadn't been running any water and as time progressed, I knew that what we were dreading had finally happened: our water line had broken. Over the six years we have lived here, we have watched water lines break down the street seemly one after another, each one closer to our house. Here is what it looked like:

The water company arrived hours later, but with good news; it was their line and not ours! so they came back three days later and fixed it. Xavier missed the action while at school, but Mara got a bird's eye view from our front window.
