Happy Halloween!

We had fun trick-or-treating in our new city. It was cold, about 35 degrees, and, as our neighbor said, "a Minnesota Halloween."

Xavier and Mara had creative and specific costumes in mind this year when I asked what they were thinking of being. Xavier wanted to be the Lego Minifigure Series 1 Spaceman and Mara wanted to be Intergalactic Girl. And Monica got to be a cat. She really picked up the on the trick-or-treating very quickly, and as we walked between houses, she would say, "Another house!" and run. By the end, she was charming people with her "Happy Halloween" and "thank you"s.
