The University of St. Thomas Children's Christmas Party: Mara got her face painted as a winter butterfly.
Making gingerbread cookies before Christmas: The kids did all the work this year; I didn't make any cutouts, just helped roll out the dough.
Mara made herself a cat mask.
Monica in seasonal attire:
Snuggling with Dad on Christmas Eve:
The Christmas tree:
Christmas Day: We opened stockings before church and then did gifts after.
Super-warm hats for us to survive the Minnesota winter (thanks Grandmom and Grandpop Rose):
Robes and slippers made by Grandmom Rose:
Grandmom and Grandpop Rose also gave the kids sleds, which we tested out on a little hill at St. Thomas' Campus. They had a lot of fun. We look forward to finding some good sledding spots, because these sleds are fast.
We also did lots of crafts and visited with friends. Also, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa D. we look forward to many visits to the Minnesota Science Center this year with our new membership.
Happy New Year!
