Ann Arbor, Summer 2016

We only went as far east as Ann Arbor last summer. It was Grandma and Grandpa D's 50th wedding anniversary and we didn't want to miss it.

We got to see many cousins! Eva and Katharine are only a few months apart!

We celebrated Xavier's birthday (with cousins!):

Xavier's birthday gift from us was to build a water bottle rocket launcher with his dad and Grandpa. Here is the finished project:

 So, much for organizing the suitcase!

A good friend of Peter's family, Don, was in town, too. He plays flute professionally and helped us buy a good flute for Xavier. Then he gave Xavier a lesson and played with him!
