6/25 - We spent an extra day in Pittsburgh due to a storm that knocked out power and many trees in New Jersey. So, we spent the day as tourists. We parked on north shore and rode the connector downtown. We visited Point State Park and had lunch at Primanti's in Market Square. Then we rode the connector back to the North Shore and spent the afternoon at the Carnegie Science Center, where we explored the U.S.S. Requin submarine. (Xavier was very much into submarines again while we were on the road, so this was a cool thing. Also, Xavier visited the sub once before on a first grade field trip and composed a song about it.
