May be it doesn't look that big in the photo, but this tomato was huge. It was from the Brandywine tomato plant in our garden. We have had good success with our garden this summer, though we have learned a few things, especially not to do cucumbers next summer (What a failure!). We've had lots of lettuce, zucchini, and basil, and are now getting eggplant, peppers, and lots of tomatoes. We have one other giant Brandywine tomato from that plant to eat today, plus romas and Better Boys. We also planted a second round of vegetables: more lettuce, green beans, and kale. We'll see what we get from those, but for now we are all enjoying the fruits (or vegetables!) of our garden.
